Summer is almost here !!

Summer will be here before we know it. Please check your filters and rinse out your outside unit so that you are ready when it gets here. If you can't do it yourself, you need to hire a professional, licensed heat and air technician to do it for you. With the high cost of utilities now a days, you can't afford not to do this minor maintenance. Also remember that with Obama's new stimulus program, there will be great incentives to get a more efficient system this year, so call your heat and air company and ask them what kind of tax rebates for high efficiency equipment. First Day of Spring !!!!

Well the duct cleaning special wasn't all that we had hoped but it has picked up here the closer we get to summer. Remember to check your filters and spray out your outside unit and turn it on before the heat gets here. It is better to know if there is a problem before the day it gets to be 100*. If any of you have any marketing ideas that I can try for our business, please reply with your ideas, I am open for suggestions. I will post more later

The groundhog says 6 more weeks!!!!

Fall is in the air !! The leaves are starting to turn in Oklahoma!!

Well Fall is going to be here on Monday. Has everyone checked your heating system to make sure it is ready before you need it. Check filters if it has been more than a month since last check. If you aren't comfortable checking your furnace, please give a licensed heat and air company a call and let them do it for you. It will give you piece of mind, and you will be able to get the company out there so much quicker than if you wait till it is so cold that everyone is calling them on those days. A Funny Tip For The Dog Days of Summer !!!!

Well, it has been awhile since I posted anything new. Summer is in full swing now in Oklahoma. Business has been very busy. The past winters ice storms took a real toll on all of our heat pump customers who did not read their users manual and who did not remember us telling them after we installed the units that you always run your heat pump on emergency heat during and ice storm to avoid damaging the outside unit, so therefore there have been an abnormally high number of calls with damaged compressors!!! So I guess this tip is actually for all of you who live where ice storms occur. DO NOT RUN YOUR HEAT PUMP DURING AN ICE STORM !! PUT IT ON EMERGENCY HEAT UNTIL THE ICE IS COMPLETELY GONE !!! It will save your compressor in your unit. Well need to get back to work, but will try and get on more often this summer with more useful tips ( well hopefully useful LOL ) .
