A Funny Tip For The Dog Days of Summer !!!!

Well, it has been awhile since I posted anything new. Summer is in full swing now in Oklahoma. Business has been very busy. The past winters ice storms took a real toll on all of our heat pump customers who did not read their users manual and who did not remember us telling them after we installed the units that you always run your heat pump on emergency heat during and ice storm to avoid damaging the outside unit, so therefore there have been an abnormally high number of calls with damaged compressors!!! So I guess this tip is actually for all of you who live where ice storms occur. DO NOT RUN YOUR HEAT PUMP DURING AN ICE STORM !! PUT IT ON EMERGENCY HEAT UNTIL THE ICE IS COMPLETELY GONE !!! It will save your compressor in your unit. Well need to get back to work, but will try and get on more often this summer with more useful tips ( well hopefully useful LOL ) .
