Summer has finally arrived in Oklahoma !! I have been busy answering calls and scheduling our technicians days out. It always amazes me each year , that customers always wait till it is over 90 degrees to check their air conditioners. I personally turned mine on a month ago to make sure it worked o-k . I know I work for a heat and air company but it would be hard for me to get someone out there in the first few weeks of really hot weather. So just remember to keep a clean filter, to save on your bills and to avoid break downs in mid- summer. Have a great week.

Registers blow and Grilles suck

The weeks are flying by, and summer is almost here ( in Oklahoma, anyway ) Are you prepared for the hot temperatures??

I had said that I would try and post helpful tips , So :

Tip #1

Check and change filter monthly

Tip #2

No matter the reason, do not close off any registers in your home. People think that they will save money by not heating or cooling a certain area, but your heat and air system is designed to push so many tons of air, and if the registers are closed , it can't do that , causing excessive wear and tear on your system.

Tip #3

Just FYI 'Registers blow and Grilles suck'. That is the way I remember the difference between registers and grilles. Not sure if you will ever need to know that, but never know when it will come in useful. LOL
